Dogs sense sarcasm 1

My dog Mojo took a huge spill tonight. I called her to come to me and she ran full speed ahead toward me on the pavement. Her paw got caught in a sewer drainage and she flipped in the air, landed on her side, and rolled into the curb on the driveway. She got up right away, squeeled a little bit, and I carried her into the apartment. She was in a lot of pain, but her leg wasn’t broken; just a couple of scratches. She’s walking okay now with only a bit of a limp.

All night I have felt so bad for her, and I have been talking very nice to her. I think she thinks I’m being sarcastic when I say nice things to her, because normally I don’t talk like this. I think that she thinks I’m mocking her.

Ha! My dog had on a Santa hat and thought he was cool until I started laughing at him. Then he shook it off and went to hide in his bed once he realised I was mocking him.
