You must have fear people. Reading the American news the last couple days you might be fearful of an apparent imminent threat, another “September 11th” in the works.
But upon further investigation when reading the small print on CNN, you will notice that the individuals who were planning an attack on a UK airliner have been under surveillance in Britain since last December.
So really people, why is it being blown up so much (no pun intended) if these guys were clearly followed for so long? There was no imminent threat other than the fact that they had apparently planned a “dry run” over the next couple of days. It was just a matter of time before arrests were made.
With the interim elections coming up in the US, it is convenient timing to thwart such an attack and show the world that the apparent “war on terrorism” is helping to reign in the terrorists.
