I’m sitting in class right now (I’m working on a degree part time), and a fellow student is 3 rows in front of me playing a video game while the professor is giving a lecture.
Aside from the prof’s voice, all I can hear is annoying rapid clicking of the mouse. It’s amazing that a mouse can withstand such blunt force.
I discretely snapped this picture of him in the middle of his video game:
Update 7:30PM – Apparently playing video games during lectures is a normal phenomenon. I just snapped a picture of a completely different student playing a game (The other student is no longer playing his game):
So overt, too. I guess their parents are paying their tuition.
you know, it could have been worse. he could have been blogging. 😛

george, you took the thought right out of my brain 🙂
George, I knew you would point this out. My original draft actually had a disclaimer at the bottom; something along the lines of “blah blah blah.. I’m a hypocrite.. blah blah blah”.
Anyway, the difference between the video gamers and myself is that I snuck out of there at the first break (The class was essentially teaching me what I do every day at work anyway).
On the other hand, perhaps the video gamers already knew the lecture materials as well.. but they chose to stay in class, so who knows 😉
