My roommate Ned and I have spent most of our weekend digging in our basement. We are building a basement apartment in our house, so we are creating a separate entrance into the basement and digging out a new room in the basement. As a result, we have a huge pile of dirt in our back yard.
The dirt pile is starting to get very large, and we still have quite a bit of digging to do yet. We are digging approximately 6 feet down, 7 feet wide, and 15 feet wide, so that’s quite a bit of dirt.
Huge thanks to Mark for helping us dig yesterday. With 3 people, the productivity is much better.
