Environment-friendly apartment 2

When I was showering this morning and no warm water was coming out of the tap, at first I couldn’t help but have feelings of rage towards my apartment building. The water was so extremely cold that I couldn’t even get in the shower. Even placing my foot under the water felt as cold as pouring ice water all over my feet. It ended up taking me 20 minutes to shower, and it was not a pleasant experience.

But then when looking at the news, I noticed the company that operates the Ontario power grid was asking consumers to reduce electricity consumption for the remainder of the week because of the hot weather. So I figure my apartment building must have turned off the water heater to help conserve energy. What a commendable action that they have done, and I can’t overstate how much respect I have for my apartment building. I also experienced an ice cold shower on Saturday morning when they did the same thing. Props to my piece of crap apartment building.

Anyone want to sell me a condo?
