Stay strong Grandma 1

I’m writing this knowing that today will probably be the last time I see my Grandma before she closes her eyes and goes to the heavens. Although this is a very difficult time for the whole family, I’m comforted to know that she is at peace with herself. She told me last week not to worry about her because she has had a great life, has wonderful children and a wonderful husband and she has no regrets. Even though her health is failing she is staying strong to be complacent to the family. She has always been a compassionate person with regard only for others with her best interests always as the last priority. We will always remember her for her huge heart, her unselfishness and her huge everlasting smile. There was always a cloud of energy surrounding her, and she was always running around the house making sure everyone was happy. You have had a great life Grandma and have made us all proud. We will miss you greatly and remember you always.

Jim, I’m so very sorry. Her last words are bittersweet, but how wonderful to know she went feeling okay that her time was winding down.
