I ran the Sporting Life 10K race today and beat my Personal best time and ended up with 38 minutes and 49 seconds (Overall: 186th of 6339, Gender: 161st of 2976, Age Category: 11th of 97). I beat my last year’s time by only 30 seconds. I was aiming to get under 39 minutes, so at least I did that much. It was quite impressive to see close to 7000 people running down what’s known as the longest street in the world (Yonge Street) in Toronto.
Below is a picture I took from my bedroom. It shows my Canadian flag hanging from my window with the CN Tower visible through the the flag. I thought it looked kinda cool and representative of my patriotism.
Congrats on the race time! Nice picture. Actually it’s a great picture – don’t be suprised in Toronto’s Tourism Department would be interested in acquiring it for promoting the City.
Hey Jim,
Congrats on your personal best time. I admire your determination, you get that from your Dad.
