Now that 2013 has come to a close, we have taken a look at our blog statistics for the year. It turns out our Urban Bicycling Is For Lazy People was by far the most popular unique article posted in 2013, while the most popular news article on the site was our piece on the Dad who was arrested for picking up his kids at school by foot.
Google Chrome was the most popular browser for our readers, while Internet Explorer fell to 5th place, and Facebook was the top traffic source for readers in 2013.
Users reached The Urban Country using more than 10,000 search keyword phrases – many of which were variations of people trying to find out Rachel McAdams home address in Toronto (after we highlighted the fact that Rachel McAdams gets around Toronto by bike).
2013 marked the first time ever that we have paid the paparazzi for photos to post on this blog (for the Rachel McAdams bicycle photos mentioned above).
Happy New Year friends, and here’s to 2014 bringing happiness and health to all of our readers!
